During our stay at this charming cottage in Okehampton, we were pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail and thoughtful amenities provided by Ruth, the owner. the kitchen was well-stocked with essentials, the beds were comfortable, and the second bathroom was a convenient addition. the views from the cottage were simply breathtaking, offering a peaceful and tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. While we did encounter a minor issue with the hot water, Ruth's prompt and friendly response quickly resolved the issue. the location of the cottage was ideal for exploring the surrounding area, with walking trails, woodlands, and the town of Okehampton within easy reach. the proximity to Bude made it convenient for a day trip to the seaside. Overall, our stay at this lovely cottage was a delightful experience and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the Devon countryside. Ruth's hospitality and the serene setting make it a perfect choice for a relaxing getaway.
